When your government behaves like the enemy

This week, the world will be watching what may come out of a meeting between the leader of the free world, and an authoritarian regime in Russia.

Freedom loving Americans have always been critical of governments like Russia, China and N. Korea to name a few and for obvious reasons—dictatorial regimes who commit crimes against the people, use the media for propaganda, or to imprison people who make political demands of their government are control freaks with nothing positive to offer.

Yet this week, the leader of a regime we detest asked a few simple and truthful questions about our own government just as it points its dirty finger at our adversary.

When asked about the killing of a Russian leaxer, Vladimir Putin reversed the question to ask why our journalists are not demanding answers to questions such as who killed Ashli Babbit inside our Capital on January 6th, and why people are still being held for trespassing? Why does our media assist pushing false narratives of “insurrection”, and demonize people who simply made political demands of their own government? These are legitimate questions.

Right now, we have a party of public servants many of whom are wealthy, with private armed security demanding you give up your guns, defund your police, destabilize your economy, and spend your children and grandchildren into an unpayable debt, and all while they themselves pretend to be victims of oppression—why do we tolerate these reprobates?

Our nation was created on a few basic ideas—the freedom of the individual guaranteed by laws created for the individual, and that our foundation is based on Christian-Judeo principles…both of which are under assault by one party in control of our federal government and of many state governments.

As you and I have watched, the rules created lately, in the name of safety, that undermine our freedoms are not being followed by the people creating them—rules for thee, but not for me.

Of course, we have also bore witness over the past year to an undeniable double standard, two tier society where certain groups who make demand and destroy our cities get preferential treatment by those in power and the media while everyone else who. simply demand their freedom from overreaching government are falsely labeled as “white supremist” and “racists”.

All of this begs the question, who is the real authoritarian regime and when will. freedom-loving Americans stop putting up with it?
