LEADERSHIP

Our leadership team for the Wayne 12th Congressional District Republican Committee is elected with each new election cycle. The committee consists of a 4 member executive team, 15 member district committee team, and 12 Wayne County Republican Committee. Our committee also allows for new members via participation requirements.

Below are the executive leaders elected for the 2025-2026 cycle.

CHAIR

Paula Gnacke

I am a mother of 3 and Nani to 2 granddaughters. I first got the political bug working on David Dudenhoefer's Congressional campaign in 2020. In 2021, I became a Precinct Delegate, a delegate to State Convention and a member of the WCRC. I served as the district secretary and both temporary and permanent secretaries for all 3 County Conventions in 2022 under the leadership of Jodie Brown. It is an honor to serve as the Chair of the Wayne 12th CDRC. I'm hopeful for the future with all of the amazing delegates that we have.

VICE CHAIR

Cat Dobis

With five years in politics, including a 2023 run for Plymouth commissioner, I'm committed to public service. As a delegate for 3.5 years and now vice chair of the Wane 12th CDRC, I serve with dignity and servitude. A proud mother of two daughters, ages 26 and 23, and two stepchildren, I strive to leave our country stronger for future generations. My husband's full support fuels our shared dedication to this cause.

TREASURER

Chris Dobis

As a passionate newcomer to politics, I found my calling through my inspiring wife, who introduced me to the role of Republican delegate. For over a year, I’ve embraced this journey, recently earning the honor of serving as the Wayne 12th Treasurer. As a father to my 21-year-old son, 18-year-old daughter, and two stepdaughters, I’m driven to leave our country stronger for the next generation. I’m committed to serving with dignity, respect, and gratitude for the delegates who entrusted me with this role.

SECRETARY

Beth Sly

I am a full time professional Realtor and Conservative Patriot. I grew up in Melvindale but currently live in Livonia and have 6 children and 2 grandkids. My husband Jeff and I were married in 1999. We have 2 rescue dogs, Frankie and Mollie. We enjoy camping and target shooting.

I was elected as a Precinct Delegate in 2022 and served as an Election Inspector and Poll Challenger for the 2022 elections. During the last election cycle, I knocked on doors in my precinct to support the Republican candidates on the ballot. I'm looking forward to doing great things with the delegates of the Wayne 12th.
